Welcome to Cloudsdale’s Cattery. We are a small-scale breeder of Russian Blue cats located in Jyväskylä, Finland. We are registered with FIFe (Fédération Internationale Féline) through the Finnish Cat Association (Suomen Kissaliitto).

Our goal is to breed healthy, social, and well-tempered Russian Blues that meet the breed standards. Below is essential information for those interested in a kitten from our cattery.

About Our Kittens

All our breeding cats undergo health checks before mating to ensure the well-being of the kittens. Our kittens grow up as part of the family, surrounded by everyday life, people, and other pets, ensuring they are well-socialized before moving to their new homes.

Terms of Sale & Delivery

• Kittens are ready to move to their new homes at the age of 14 weeks at the earliest.
• When leaving our cattery, each kitten is:
  • Vaccinated.
  • Microchipped.
  • Accompanied by a fresh veterinarian’s health certificate.
  • Officially registered with the Finnish Cat Association (Kissaliitto) and FIFe.
  • All our kittens are spayed or neutered before they move to their new homes.
  • A kitten may be sold unneutered to other registered breeders. In such cases, I prefer a kitten exchange (trade) for breeding purposes instead of a direct sale.
• We always use the official sales contract provided by the Finnish Cat Association.
• The price for a kitten is 1500 €. For kittens being exported abroad, additional costs will be added to the base price to cover expenses such as the EU pet passport, rabies vaccinations, possible extended care, and potential transportation costs.

Please note that we do not sell kittens to homes where they would be allowed to roam freely outdoors. They should live as indoor cats, with outdoor access limited to secured balconies or walking on a leash.

Reservation Process

If you are interested in a Cloudsdale’s Russian Blue kitten, please contact us via email. When reaching out, we would appreciate it if you could introduce yourself and describe the kind of home you are offering.

We do not officially promise or reserve a kitten for a buyer until the kitten is approximately 4 weeks old and has been visited in person. This ensures that the kitten and the new owner are a good match.

After the visit, a reservation fee of 300 € is required to secure the kitten. This fee is non-refundable but will be deducted from the final purchase price.

Exporting a Kitten

For international buyers, please be aware of the following:

• We comply with EU regulations regarding the movement of pet animals.
• If a rabies vaccination is required (for travel outside Finland), the kitten may need to stay with us until 15–16 weeks of age due to the 21-day waiting period after the vaccination.
